KAISER PERMANENTE: SUNNYSIDE
CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY NP/PA
- Start date upon credentialing (~60 days)- 3 months minimum contract with options to extend
- Schedule: Operating room 7a-3:45p. Inpatient rounding 7:15a-3:45p. Monday Friday.
- Call Schedule/Responsibilities: Call is preferred but NOT required. 1:4 Rotation between providers. 1:4 weekday and 1:4 weekends. On Weekdays will likely get a handful of calls but rarely go in. On Weekends, Provider will round in the AM for a few hours then be on call the remainder of the time. Will take calls but not likely to go back in.
- Types of cases: Must have experience pulling Epicardial Wires, Chest Tubes, and Vein Harvesting. Must be proficient in EVH and first assist.
- PPD/Census: Generally 2 OR cases per day. 10-15 patients per day if they are rounding.
- EMR: EPIC
- Requirements: OR license preferred but will help with licensing during credentialing if needed, board certification, NO NEW GRADS.
**This is a 1099 contract position. No employee benefits are available.
