I'm delighted to be supporting my client with their search for a Product & Business Development Manager.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth and success through identification of new business opportunities, developing new products and cultivating strategic partnerships to expand market presence.
This role reports into the Director of Product & Business Development.
Requirements of the role:
- Monitor market dynamics and competitive activity.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, identifying trends, networking, and strategic analysis.
- Evaluate product/business development opportunities to define product requirements.
- Project management developing and delivering on time to agreed specification and cost.
- Ensure project updates are communicated effectively and ensuring stakeholders are informed of any status updates.
- Responsible for the development and ongoing accuracy of project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct product testing and validation ensuring performance, quality, and safety.
- Compiling technical dossiers to support regulatory compliance and gate approvals.
- Strategic sourcing, new supplier onboarding, product & specification, and COG negotiations (non-LMD).
- Regulatory collaborate with commercial, finance, regulatory, quality, operations, and packaging.
Key skills & experience:
- Bachelor s in Business, Marketing, Lifesciences, or another technical discipline A MUST.
- 3-5 years experience in FMCG, Healthcare or Medical Devices.
- Proven record of success in a similar role.
- Strong and proven project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Capable of presenting numerical and technical information effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once.
- An understanding of basic financial statements and analysis (P&L, GP, COGS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
