LEAP ATTENDANCE MONITOR
Part Time Hourly Position (Pending Grant Funding)
5 Hours per day/$26 per hour
Bassick High School

Responsibilities:

Monitor student attendance and determine students who are at risk of becoming chronically absent.
Prepare data reports
Meet regularly with school personnel to discuss reports and concerns.
Maintain accurate detailed records pertaining to student absences: reasons, contact with parent/guardian etc.
Attend meetings and trainings as appropriate.
Conduct phone calls and home visits where necessary
Maintain contact with families of students with attendance concerns.
Enforce the importance of good attendance with the student and their families.
Comply with Child Find requirements.
Any other duties assigned by the administration as necessary
