Position Overview: The Client Support Specialist plays a vital role in the daily lives of our clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness through personalized support and care. This position is ideal for compassionate, energetic individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

Personalized Client Support and Care:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including grooming, eating, mobility, and hygiene, tailored to their individual care plans.
  • Monitor and manage medication schedules, ensuring timely and accurate administration.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care coordination.

Engagement and Enrichment Activities:

  • Develop and implement daily and weekly activity schedules based on client interests and abilities, promoting engagement and personal growth.
  • Accompany clients to various recreational and social activities, providing support and encouragement.
  • Document client participation and progress, adjusting activities to meet evolving needs and preferences.

Client Transportation and Mobility Support:

  • Provide transportation for clients to and from the facility, as well as to any appointments or activities, ensuring safety and punctuality.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, performing regular checks and reporting any issues.
  • Manage transportation schedules efficiently, adapting to any necessary changes in daily plans.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in caregiving, particularly within a healthcare, social services, or educational setting.
  • Valid driver s license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to varying needs.
  • CPR certified (We will help you get certified if you are not).
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care and support.
