As a Community Relief Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations across our residential communities within our extensive portfolio spanning Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and North Carolina. This is for an additional Community Relief Specialist role to add to our growing team.Here's what you'll be responsible for:Filling in for absent Community Managers, Assistant Community Managers and Leasing Professionals. As fill-in for Managers, directs and coordinates the community activities in accordance with instruction provided by the permanent manager. As a Leasing Professional, shows and leases apartments and supports the manager with daily activities.Collaborating on special projects for various company departments, contributing your expertise and insight to drive successful outcomes.Frequent travel, sometimes overnight, to properties anywhere within our portfolio spanning Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and North Carolina. While the bulk of travel will likely be concentrated in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Dayton, flexibility is key to meeting the needs of our diverse communities.What We Are Looking For:Minimum one year of experience as a Leasing Professional or Property Manager in a residential multifamily apartment community.Must have flexibility in your schedule to accommodate travel throughout the Towne Properties portfolio.Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Proficient in relevant software applications such as Yardi and Rent Caf .Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed to meet the demands of the role.Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and active participation in networking opportunities.Proven work history showcasing dedication to a team and alignment with its mission.Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.Willingness to submit to a drug and background check if offered this position.Why you ll agree Towne Properties is a Great Place to Work :Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with some extended hours to accommodate travel. Join us in creating exceptional living experiences across our communities!onding to resident requests; protecting residents from emergencies.Duties:* Greets guests and visitors to the facility by asking the nature of their visit; referring them to a resident; referring them to an administrative department.* Provides a secure retirement community by maintaining a sign-in log for visitors, and repair and technical service providers; issuing dated security passes.* Notifies residents of visitors' arrivals by using the community intercom system.* Responds to resident requests by logging or forwarding requests to appropriate service personnel.* Operates switchboard by connecting calls, providing information; recording messages for absent residents.* Receives monthly apartment rental payments by accepting checks; handling credit card charges; forwarding payments to bookkeeper.* Forwards mail by placing resident mail in personal mail boxes; distributing retirement community bulletins to residents; opening facility mail and distributing to administrative personnel; delivering outgoing mail to post office.* Conducts emergency drills with staff and residents by announcing and directing fire drills; initiating communication buddy systems; leading disaster plan implementation drills.* Maintains resident confidence by keeping personal information confidential.* Accomplishes reception and retirement community mission by completing related results as needed.Skills/Qualifications:Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Listening, Dependability, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Handles Pressure, Organization, Informing Others, Confidentiality, Connecting with Children
