JDP is seeking a second shift Production Supervisor in Louisville, KY area! The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of an assigned team of employees to perform tasks in a food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the development of team goals, objectives, standards and expectations.
- Build partnerships within departmental lines to achieve team results.
- Provide insight in encouraging others to try new approaches and solve day to day opportunities.
- Drive individual accountability and ownership results.
- Foster accountability for direct reports to include safety, quality delivery, and cost.
- Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with labor planning and scheduling.
