We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing plant's operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively manage resources to achieve operational objectives. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.
- Drive initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to foster a culture of excellence.
Production Planning:
- Oversee production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement quality control measures and corrective actions as needed.
Supply Chain Management:
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to manage inventory levels.
- Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for optimization.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- with engineering, quality assurance, maintenance, and finance teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management, data analysis, and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Work Environment:
The role will be on-site at our manufacturing plant in Greensboro, NC. Hours will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm ET with some work required outside of typical hours on an as-needed basis as our plants run 24/7.
