Are you a Construction Manager with a proven track record of overseeing complex projects from conception to completion? We are seeking a Construction Manager to serve as an Owner s Representative for energy and infrastructure projects. Location: Arizona
Schedule: 40 hours a week plus 10 hours of overtime
Duration: 12-month contract
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison between the client and all contractors or subcontractors at construction sites.
- Manage all facets of the project, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure construction activities meet project deadlines and requirements.
- Perform regular site checks to oversee progress and spot potential challenges or risks.
- Approve all construction documents to confirm they meet project needs.
- Work with both internal and external parties, including regulators, to address any project issues.
- Deliver regular updates on project progress, budget status, and potential risks to stakeholders.
- Seek and implement ways to enhance efficiency and reduce costs during the project.
- Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Advocate for the clients interests during project meetings, negotiations, and discussions with vendors and partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated track record as a Construction Manager or Owner's Representative, ideally within the energy or infrastructure industry.
- Solid grasp of construction methodologies, strategies, and best practices.
- Strong project management skills, ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiar with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Certification in construction or project management (PMP) is preferred.
- Willing to travel to project sites as needed.
