Job Description Summary:
The Senior or General Superintendent will be responsible for supervision of the project resulting in successful project completion.
This position will be based in the mid west to start. Travel required.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Able to perform all superintendent job responsibilities
- Manage direct reports in all field areas and subcontractors
- Enforce safety procedures, attend and participate in Safety Training Program
- Develop relationships with Owner and Architect
- Recruit, organize, train, supervise and coordinate field construction team
- Ensure work quality, set standards for quality control
- Order materials and tools (avoid "crisis" buying)
- Prepare necessary reports (e.g. time sheets, work orders, daily reports and invoice approval)
- Oversee punch list progress and ensure on time completion
- Review all drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals
- Chair or attend pre-job conference and regular subcontractor meetings
- Oversee start-up testing and turnover to Owner
- Supervision of multiple projects over a large geographic area as required
- Plan and communicate required support
- Manual labor may be required in rare circumstances
- Assume responsibility for the overall management and success of a project
- On-site position, travel required. Scheduled time off every 3 weeks.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements: - Minimum 4 years supervising large scale solar PV sites
- Knowledge of OSHA laws
- Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control
- Strong problem-solving and sense of urgency

Compensation Range: $150,000.00 - $195,000.00
