Job Title: Facilities Manager

Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6 month contract to HIRE
Conversion Salary: $90,000-100,000
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years in facilities management, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role, demonstrating effective leadership and team management skills.
- A proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for facility maintenance, repair, and upgrades.
- Oversee a team of 3 individuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Lead facility improvement projects, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee needs and resolving facility-related issues promptly.
