We are currently seeking a .Net Developer for a remote position on our Federal program in Alexandria, Virginia. Federal Client requires US Citizenship.
The .Net Developer will be part of a team tasked with converting legacy applications, modifying web and line of business applications utilizing full stack development on the Microsoft / .Net / SQL Server platform. Work with network team to maintain server hosted development tools. Work with Database Administrators on design/development and Network Administrators on network requirements. The developer will write code encompassing all tiers of the software development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create back-end code and interfaces for new web service interfaces.
- Integrate web sites and solutions with other computer applications.
- Write, modify, and debug web applications, while assisting other developers in coding and debugging issues.
- Embed with Azure modernization team as .Net developer and SME
- Develop integrations with other interconnected systems on prem, Azure, CloudFoundry, etc..
- Work with business representatives to define requirements and develop technical specifications.
- Maintain versioning and implementation of third party products used in the development process.
- Participate in activities accordingly to ensure on time implementation deliverables are met including day-to-day planning and coordination with testers, developers, project managers and business representatives.
Education + Experience - Federal Client requires US Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering field; 4 additional years' related
- 5+ years of full time software development experience.
- Experienced with .Net frontend/ backend development with C#.
- Experienced with HTML, XML, JavaScript, and other related web frontend languages.
- Experienced with SQL using an enterprise database (SQL Server, Oracle).
- Experienced with web service technologies (REST/ SOAP).
- Comfortable with debugging and analyzing software errors.
- Comfortable with object oriented analysis and design.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
