We invest in our community and strongly believe that meaningful commitment to a wide variety of philanthropic organizations builds a better world and a brand that makes us proud.**Job Category**Finance**Position Summary**The Risk Specialist will support CFNA s second line risk function by completing risk assessments, performing second line monitoring and testing, supporting first line management in risk-related areas, and participating in special projects supporting the risk management function.**Responsibilities****General Risk Responsibilities:**+ Develop and maintain inventory of department policies, standards, and procedures.+ Assist with the development of agendas and material related to risk management activities for the senior leadership team, Management Risk Committee, Directors Risk Committee, or Board as directed by the Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and BSA Director.+ Work across the organization to develop relationships in all departments and ultimately have a comprehensive understanding of all departmental functions and contacts within those areas.+ Serve as a data administrator for the ERM/GRC system.+ Examine the various reports across the organization and seek to leverage, improve, and automate risk reports on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).+ Design and produce new reports through the ERM/GRC systems or manually as needed by management or the Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and BSA Director.+ Work with other stakeholders and systems across the enterprise in the reporting process to ensure accuracy and continuity of issues management status.+ Work with SMEs on drafting accurate and comprehensive action plans for risk remediation.+ Support the annual risk assessment process through review of processes, documents, interviews, and recommendations for improvement.+ Assist in the due diligence process for acquisition of new and replacement systems.+ Support key projects by attending meetings, providing insight, and updating progress on project plan documents, where needed, and keep the Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and BSA Director apprised of project status and new risks being introduced to the environment.+ Draft training materials and deliver training to focused groups where the training subject is within the scope of the role for this position.+ Perform validation of documents and processes from the First Line of Defense.+ Attend relevant industry and risk training, and obtain relevant industry certifications, when determined needed.+ Perform other duties as assigned.**BSA/AML/OFAC Responsibilities:**+ Assist in the analyses to support the completion of BSA-related risk assessments.+ Perform second line monitoring and testing.+ Perform or assist with suspicious activity investigations and/or prepare or review Suspicious Activity Reports prior to submission.**Third Party Risk Management Responsibilities:**+ Support the first line management in completing risk assessments and due diligence related to third parties.+ Support the Third-Party Risk Management Manager by performing second line monitoring related to third parties.**Minimum Qualifications**+ Bachelor s Degree or equivalent business experience.+ Minimum of 5 years of related experience in financial services working in a risk management role.+ Understanding of industry risk management best practices and standards+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with various levels of staff/management and third parties.+ The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.+ The ability to concisely express risk concepts verbally and in writing.+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, with an emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.+ Willing to work toward certifications such as CIA, CAMS, CRMA, or others that apply to regulatory compliance and/or risk management.+ Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor s degree; or 3 years and a master s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience._Bridgestone is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
