The Basics:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our Commercial Operations team in providing exceptional quoting support. As the Senior Commercial Operations Manager, you will oversee a team responsible for facilitating quoting processes. This position will play a vital role in elevating Commercial Operations to achieve higher levels of customer service excellence by fostering a culture of change and enhancing sales enablement. The ideal candidate requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to customer service.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for providing quoting support within our commercial operations department.
  • Develop and maintain efficient and effective quoting processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Finance, to understand quoting requirements and address any technical challenges.
  • Implement and maintain quoting tools and systems to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring a high level of performance.
  • Monitor quoting performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on quoting processes and systems, providing training and support to team members and stakeholders as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to technology operations and quoting support, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to quoting processes and data security.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Commercial Operations team and other departments, fostering strong relationships and promoting collaboration.
We're looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in technology operations, with a focus on quoting support or related areas.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Technical proficiency in quoting tools and systems, such as Salesforce.com, CPQ, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to customer service excellence and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience working in a technology-driven industry or with technology products is preferred.

What you'll get

$105,000 - $320,000
