TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Top 20 ENR General Contractor in the Florida area on their search for a Transportation Engineer with direct experience in Heavy Civil Construction.

Job Title: Field Engineer (3 - 4+ yrs exp)

Project Types: Heavy Civil, Transportation, Train Stations, Highways, Tunnels

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate has a background overseeing subcontractors and a focus in field supervision
  • Direct experience with Quality Control, and assisting the Quality Control Manager
  • Proven ability to handle all field engineer responsibilities
  • This role will engage across all projects including review/production of design and construction documents, implementation of QA/QC during construction through review of submittals, RFIs, and review/inspection/testing of ongoing work in the field.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external team members including consultants, A/E professionals, owners, and trade partners while continually striving to elevate the construction process through creating remarkable experiences for all involved.

Skills & Qualification:

  • 2+ years of Field Engineer Experience for a reputable General Contractor
  • B.S. in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering/Architecture or recognized industry credentials
  • 2+ years of experience on Heavy Civil, Transportation, Highway, Tunneling, High Speed Rail, Train Station Projects
  • A passion for the Construction Industry and a drive to progress in the Field towards QC Manager and/or Superintendent
