**POSITION OVERVIEW**

As an ALOM Receiving Clerk you will be responsible for on time receiving and put away. We are seeking a detail-oriented multi-tasker with experience in receiving with a working knowledge of WMS, Windows and ERP. Must understand receiving and inventory, and have the ability to resolve issues.

Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a warehouse environment. Must have a detailed knowledge of inventories and record maintenance. Fork lift (stand up and sit down) certification and scissor lift experience preferred but not required.

Education:High-School Diploma, GED or (equivalent)

Computer/Software**:** WMS, intuitive ERP, Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel

Job Scope: On time receiving of all incoming shipments and put away of received materials. Receiving incoming inspection and document all findings. Complete daily cycle count plans, process return-to-stock and material issue requests. Work as an integral part of the warehouse team, performing a support role to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager and Warehouse Lead.

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Under minimal supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor - assists the Warehouse with all incoming shipments, component audit sampling, stocking and warehouse keep up (cleanliness) in a medium size business environment standard.

* Lot controlled and serialized products need to be received and processed based on ISO process and clients' specific requirements.

* Monitors on- hand inventory and reports any inventory issues.

* Ensure that all incoming shipments are received and inspected according to receiving procedure, company standards and quality system requirements.

* Ensures that all shipments received in are put away correctly and transactions are done in a timely manner.

* Manages non-conforming and scrap products according to the ISO process and quality system requirements.

* Ensures that all products have the proper identification, e.g. labeling.

* Report immediately of any damages and discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor and to ensure that the damages and discrepancies are always documented.

* Reports immediately any damages to the account management team, where evidence of damage such as pictures is required.

* Support, and improve all the processes to achieve department goals and company's quality objectives.

* Assists warehouse personnel with activities for productivity, on-time delivery of components and component shortages to Kit Audit, continuous improvement, cycle counts, daily output, safety and team well-being as the primary goal. Build a positive team relationship based on measurable goals, open communication and participation in warehouse goals. Maintain an excellent business relationship with outside customers and vendors, as well as inside account managers, planners, shipping, fulfillment and other departments.

* Picks inventory for production work orders and fulfillment orders drops when needed.

* Supports special projects assigned by Warehouse Supervisor.

* Maintains a clean, neat, organized manufacturing warehouse to achieve efficiency across the board.

* Perform daily tasks with considerations of waste minimization, and other environmental considerations

* Adhere to the environmental policy and be aware of significant environmental impacts related to job

* Support the Environmental Management System (EMS) implementation as directed by the supervisor

* Inform the supervisor regarding any accidents or nonconformities that may affect the environment

* Provide suggestions for improving the EMS to the supervisor, management or by using the suggestion box

Requires ability to move freely throughout the facility (may include walking up and down stairs, through tight or congested areas, as well as up or down ladders), ability to lift, pull and push up to 40 lbs., ability to verify, by sight, accuracy of product and paperwork, and ability to work with mathematical statistics and write legibly and neatly by hand. Must report use of any controlled substance, including prescription drugs that may impair driving ability.
