Maintenance Mechanic


Job Details

The Overnight Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of injection blow molding machinery to ensure continuous and efficient production. This role involves performing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, and collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime.


This role plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of injection blow molding equipment, contributing to the production of high-quality plastic products. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.


  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on injection blow molding machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect and lubricate components, change filters, and replace worn or damaged parts as needed.
  • Perform mold changes and set-ups when necessary.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
  • Respond promptly to production line breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and engineers to identify and address recurring problems.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of defective or worn components, such as motors, pumps, sensors, and valves.
  • Weld, fabricate, or machine parts when necessary.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during repair work.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work hands on with production, bottling and machining equipment is required
  • Ability to work 3rd shift is required (flexible with exact hours)


Salary: $35hr based on experience

Work Style: Onsite, Full Time Perm Position
