POSITION OVERVIEW:

RMA Companies, an Engineering News Record Top 500 company, is seeking an experienced Dispatcher with at least 5 years of experience to join our Engineering & Inspection Dispatch Team in our Sacramento-area office. Duties and responsibilities require coordinating field staffing needs of inspectors and technicians with our Field Supervisors/Operations Manager; maintaining consistent detail and follow-up to dispatch requests for services to our firm's clients and various project locations throughout Northern California; having a knowledge of geographical areas to ensure efficient assignments to multiple locations/requests; organizing dispatch requests per staffing availability while confirming with Field Supervisor/Operations Manager; maintaining and composing detailed dispatches to field personnel to ensure "right time/right place/right scope of work" and other pertinent information; and maintaining professional, polite, and accurate responses to client and vendor calls as well as emails.


The qualified candidate for this position will possess prior construction industry experience, a clean DMV for occasional driving either with a company vehicle or personal vehicle (reimbursed), and MSN Office/Outlook experience and fluency with Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, email composition, and other computer skills as required.


This is an in person position with mandatory overtime, required during peak seasonal hours and a basic understanding of office teamwork and operations function is essential.
