We have partnered with one of our long standing IPP partners in the search for a Senior Associate to join their structured finance team. This hire is a critical hire for the team as this person would be supporting in evaluating new projects, structuring existing projects, and closing on late stage projects all within the utility renewable sector.
This role will require a relocation to the San Francisco area, which will be supported by the client.
In this role, you would be responsible for the structuring of transactions, supporting in due diligence and taking a leading role in the financial analysis and modeling of renewable assets in the solar and wind sectors. You would be partnering with other members of the business, including the development, construction, origination, asset management, legal, and corporate finance teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finance
- 3-5 years of experience with project finance models, with at least two years of first hand deal experience
- Exceptional analytic skills and understanding relevant financial and mathematical modelling techniques
- Expansive understanding of renewable energy markets, drivers, and developments in the space
