Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPosition Summary/ObjectivesThe Sanitation Associate is a critical job at GoodHeart responsible for making sure our manufacturing facility meets or exceeds the cleanliness standards required by our industry. Sanitation Associates are front-line employees who work as part of a high-performance team and are responsible for correctly and safely performing one or more assigned activities that are part of our food manufacturing process.Top performers have the potential to earn additional responsibilities and compensation over time.Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00/hrSign-On Bonus: $500.00*Pay Frequency: Weekly (Friday)Work Week: Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays or Sundays)Schedule: 10:00 pm - 7:30 am (up to 12hrs/day)*Conditions and Terms ApplyEssential FunctionsJob duties include taking apart machines, handling hazardous chemicals/mixing chemicals using a foamer and applying mixture to machinesAbility to use control panels to turn on and off machinesUnderstand and support company goals relating to work performance, workmanship, adherence to GMPs, quality, and food safety.Provide reliable and diligent effort to consistently complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.Contribute to a safe working environment at all times.Proactively support our continuous improvement process and participate with a positive team spirit.Maintain exceptional attendanceWorking Environment/ Physical DemandsWhile the exact work varies by activity, most of our Associates are required to stand during most of their shift as they work on our various production lines.Work could include washing down various pieces of equipment, ceilings, walls, and floors.Work area temperatures vary by activity, but can range from 35 to 95 degrees.Working with water that ranges from 120 degrees to 140 degrees, and using steam to clean machineryWork attire is casual, but must meet the requirements of our Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policy. RequirementsEducation and ExperienceMust have high school diploma or equivalentMust be able to read, write and speak in EnglishMust have prior experience in handling chemicals and working as sanitarian for a food manufacturing plant.Skills and AbilitiesCan lift at least 40 lb.Willing to work in a hot and cold environment.Must be able to work with heavy duty chemicals.Able to stand, stoop, bend and lift for long durations of time.Ability to clear a background check and drug screen.Minimum of 18 years old or over.Has a positive attitude and great attendance.
