About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Change Management Project Manager to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively identifying, evaluating, implementing, and managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.


Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and document potential changes to project scope, design, materials, or regulations.
  • Analyze the impact of changes on project budget, schedule, feasibility, and risk profile.
  • Prepare and submit change orders for review and approval by stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and owner representatives.
  • Manage the change approval process, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place.
  • Develop and implement plans to implement approved changes, minimizing disruption to ongoing construction activities.
  • Track and report on the progress and impact of all changes.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with all project stakeholders regarding changes, including project team members, subcontractors, and the owner.
  • Ensure all change orders and related documentation are properly archived and readily accessible.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize change management within construction projects.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience in managing changes to construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, change order processes, and cost estimating principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with construction project management software (a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
