Role Overview:
Lead a team of bioinformaticians while collaborating closely with lab scientists and engineers to build and maintain complex NGS pipelines
Coordinate and encourage standardized coding best practices, lead and collaborate with team members on code reviews
Develop algorithms and computational infrastructure for gene-editing applications, such as off-target analysis, guide selection, and determining editing outcomes
Skills:
PhD and seasoned experience in Bioinformatics
At least six years of closely related bioinformatics industry experience with at least two years experience in a leadership capacity
Expert level proficiency in Python and experience or a strong interest in working with cloud computing systems (e.g. AWS)
