THIS IS A REMOTE, WORK-FROM-HOME POSITION

The starting salary range is $60,000 to $70,000 annually and is based on your experience, education, and skills.

The IT Recruiter will have experience in a recruitment capacity, preferably in Cyber Security, Managed Services, Compliance, or other technology-related field. This person will have a proven track record of filling open positions with the right fit candidate. Requirements include a history of phone screening, qualifying candidates for open positions, and passive recruitment activity. The candidate will be coachable, think strategically, and act with a sense of urgency.

Essential Functions:

  • Review resumes for qualified candidates.
  • Recruit passive candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and make recommendations to the hiring team on the best matched candidates for open positions.
  • Schedule interview with hiring managers and panel teams.
  • Regularly communicate with all active candidates on their application status and forward any assignments associated with their application.
  • Obtain all applicable certification copies associated with education requirements.
  • Respond to all candidate inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Manage applicant tracking systems and keep all information up to date.
  • Meet weekly with the Human Resources department.
  • Meet and provide updates to all hiring managers as needed.
  • Check professional references on all approved candidates.
  • Conduct passive recruitment through LinkedIn Recruiter on a regular basis.
  • Work with College and University contacts to obtain candidates for open internships.
  • Communicate with all staff on recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and host career fairs.
  • Other recruitment projects as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Recruitment and/or Human Resources, preferably in IT, Cybersecurity, or Managed Services industry.
  • Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources,, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • High degree of flexibility with the ability to work in a small, fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough and detail-oriented, organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and evaluate current and new tools.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with a proactive attitude.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms).
