Solar Sales Representative
Maryland/DC Branch Job Type Full-time Description Tiger Solar, formerly known as Altenergy, is looking for a Solar Sales Representative for our growing Maryland Team. While our name is new, were the same team providing high quality craftsmanship, customer-focused solar installation, and solar service to meet community needs.
The Sales Representative will work directly with branch management to develop residential project leads, survey sites, estimate project costs, develop proposals, and oversee the permitting process post-contract. Qualified applicants will have strong communication and organizational skills, be comfortable meeting lots of new people, be radically committed to a customer first mentality, and be willing to aggressively learn our trade. Solar, sales, and trade experience is a plus.

****A Day In The Life Of A Sales Representative****
* Collaborate with Branch Manager on cultivating residential and commercial sales leads and responding to customer inquiries for information
* Identify and drive sales plans for Maryland/DC/Northern VA and surrounding area; meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities
* Work closely with design and installation teams on develop sales proposals and estimate project costs
* Participate in regular sales meetings; complete regular reporting of pipeline and accurate forecasts
* Oversee permitting process and develop with external vendors
****Schedule****
* Full-time, Mon-Fri - Based in Upper Marlboro, MD but serves the Maryland/Northern VA/DC Metro Area
Requirements
* Comfortable communicating with external partners; relationship-minded
* Self-started with strong communication skills, with a willingness to go above and beyond to drive success
* Ability to take initiative, with some direction
* Team player thats flexible and not afraid to ask questions or speak up
* Strong interest in solar and renewable energy
* Detail and process oriented comfortable becoming a specialist in new processes
* Hands on, "can-do" attitude. Not afraid to jump on a job site with our Installers
* Background and motor vehicle record check required. Drug screen required.
