Raw material chemical supplier is looking to fill a critical Sales Representative position; home-based in the Fresno, CA area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful regional chemical supplier focused on selling specialty & commodity chemicals to the agricultural chemical blending market. This is an exciting, fast-paced, and challenging position. It's a solid income and career growth opportunity as well. There should be minimal overnight travel <10%.

Responsibilities: Manage and aggressively grow an existing account base in the Central Valley of California. Sell a broad range of specialty & commodity chemicals to the agricultural chemical blending market in the territory. The business requires selling on a commercial and sometimes technical level to purchasing, operations, and laboratory personnel. Aggressively prospect for new accounts and develop new opportunities at existing accounts. Manage pricing, trouble shooting, new product introductions, etc. Communicate effectively with management, suppliers, and customers. Develop the sales strategy for the territory. Effectively use a CRM program to manage territory and account information.

Requirements: 4+ years of chemical industry sales experience or related industry sales experience. A strong track record of sales success. High energy with the capacity to handle a large volume of activity. A college degree is required, but the concentration is open. Must be very professional, self-motivated, have competitive drive, and the ability to manage many activities, products, accounts, pricing, etc.
