Cadmus is seeking an experienced proposal manager adept in technical sales writing, process management, and business development. The successful candidate will plan for and develop winning responses to RFPs and other sales opportunities, support business capture, and work with leadership, subject matter experts, and partners to develop quality response deliverables. Let s solve the world s most challenging problems together.ResponsibilitiesLead pursuits from project initiation through award, ensuring that internal milestones are met and all deliverables meet the highest quality standardTake ownership of proposal process and timeline, including making and tracking assignments and deadlines and being flexible to accommodate different team structures and levels of complexityPerform initial RFP analysis and develop key proposal components including, proposal templates, checklists, and compliance matricesFacilitate team discussions to develop key messages, value propositions, and key differentiators against competitionCollaborate with senior staff and subject matter experts to understand program delivery strategies and write compelling proposal content customized for specific client needsResearch and author responses to writing requirements as neededSupport business capture efforts and strategic positioning, including conducting competitive analysis and client researchTrack, review, and summarize RFP and other bid opportunities via procurement channelsMonitor, track, and report out on progress of active pursuitsCoordinate activities involved in the development of finalist presentations, discussions, and final proposal revisionsSupport and participate in internal and external debrief effortsEngage in best practices and process improvement in proposals and business capture activitiesManage and review the efforts of partner teams, consultants, writers, editors, and illustratorsQualificationsBachelor s degree in relevant fieldMinimum 4 years experience with competitive proposal environments in the energy sector and specifically with utilities.Experience building energy efficiency sector proposalsDemonstrated ability to manage a proposal process from planning through deliveryDemonstrated experience leading and managing teams, including making and tracking assignments and deadlines and planning, scheduling, and leading meetingsDemonstrated track record of strong marketing, technical, or persuasive writingDemonstrated experience facilitating collaborative efforts with subject matter expertsExperience conducting research to build on client intelligence, competitive positioning, regulatory and policy understanding, and market insightsExcellent critical thinking skillsAttention to detail and commitment to qualityExpertise with MS office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePointDesired Qualifications:Experience working with CRM systemsAdditional Information:Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.The minimum starting salary for this position is $95,000.
