Staffmark is seeking experienced talent in Dayton, OH, ready to partner with the industry's largest environment manufacturers and solutions providers. We are hiring a Skilled Assembler ready for their next career step! Monday - Friday | $17 - $19 per hour Qualifications 3 years of experience in wood manufacturing (specifically in the store fixture industry) Construction/Carpentry Experience Ability to work with different types of machinery and equipment Mathematical abilities to include manipulation fractions on a tape measure to the nearest 1/32 of an inch Must be able to lift 50 pounds The Skilled Assembler will be responsible for trimming component pieces, creating jigs and templates, spraying adhesives, applying laminates or veneers, spotting and correcting discrepancies, ensuring all parts are available and organized, and working on complex tasks in each period. This role will assemble fabricated cabinets, obtain pre-kitted stock, pre-measure components, create finished edges, finish sanding, install drawers and hardware, and move finished cabinet parts. The candidate will also keep the work area and aisles clean and free from debris, communicate to internal customers, assure the quality of products is acceptable, operate all power and pneumatic power tools, glue, fit, screw, and clamp components during the assembly process, and adhere and meet budgeted labor hours assigned to work orders.
