Requirements of the Home Health Aide (HHA)
Preferably, at least 1 year of HHA experience
Valid HHA certification
CPR certification
- Liability Ins
- Level 2 background check
- Doctor's Physical and TB record
- CEU's (HIV, HIPAA, Abuse & Neglect ,Patient Rights, Alzheimer's, Domestic Violence, Assisting with Medication) CAN ALSO DO IN THE OFFICE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Empathetic approach towards clients' needs
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Ensures strict confidentiality and security of client medical information
Responsibilities of the Home Health Aide (HHA)
Provide exceptional care to residents
Execute designated procedures and initiatives effectively
Collaborate with departmental and cross-departmental teams
Report relevant information to immediate supervisors
Promptly respond to inquiries and information requests
Support departmental operations as directed by supervisors
Maintain up-to-date State ID, CPR Card, and Physical documentation
- Tasks may include but are not limited to meal assistance, respite care, companionship, light housekeeping, and other such services.
