A nationally recognized leader within the civil engineering market across multi-display projects including Landscape Architecture and Planning.
Location: Rockville, Maryland, MD
The Role & Responsibilities
This role is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team and business who are heavily invested in within the civil engineering and landscape architecture industries.
- Oversee the design and preparation of land planning and engineering documentation. This includes preliminary and site plans, feasibility studies and site planning.
- Undertake the site evaluation and the plant identification for natural resource inventories and forest stand delineation.
- Prepare and research existing site/project information undertaking the creation of reports and cost estimates.
- Undertake the creation and review of exhibits for internal meetings, external agency meetings including public and citizen hearings.
- Leveraging your experience and familiarity of local jurisdiction zoning and design manuals as well as drafting and design software including MicroStation and AutoCAD.
- Assist internal team members with bringing projects through the entitlement process.
Requirements\Qualifications
- Educated with a Bachelor of Science in a related field.
- Working towards gaining Landscape Architect Registration. (L.A.R.E)
- Demonstrable experience of land planning projects across site/civil and land projects in the USA.
- Ability to use software applications including MS Office, AutoCAD, Sketchup & Photoshop.
- Demonstrable experience across a wide range of landscape architecture & land planning including zoning, land planning, site grading, natural resources, and plant materials.
- Ability to undertake the creation and review of technical reports and permit documents.
