Position Duties
Title: Revenue Controller
Reports to: Director of Business Operations & CFO
Areas of Responsibility:
o Revenue/Accounts Receivable
Involvement with sales quotes, contract review, and pre-booking process.
Involvement to qualify contracts and identify nuances for invoicing.
Works with Sales, PMO, contracting officers to discuss contracts and invoicing issues.
Works with PMO to gather necessary documentation required for customer invoicing.
Weekly/Monthly customer invoicing for material/labor/travel/maintenance/staff augmentation/progress invoicing.
Sending out all customer invoices via email or customer portals.
Follow up with customers for outstanding invoice payments.
Provides estimates of cash inflows based on A/R aging schedules.
Converts sales pipeline to cash inflow projections and provides GAP analysis to sales team.
o Cash Management (Controllership Functions/Some Finance)
Apply customer payments timely.
Assists in cash flow projections for upper management to review.
Releases accounts payable invoices for final payment in Bill.com.
o Company Financials (Controllership Functions/Some Finance) Dominic will assist with training.
Reconciles prepaid accounts.
Reconciles and books unbilled receivables.
Reconciles and tracks fixed asset schedules.
Reconciles and tracks short term liabilities (PTO).
Reconciles and tracks long term liabilities (Debt obligations).
Prepares draft proforma financial statements based on sales projects and cost metrics.
Maintains budget vs actual reporting Company Wide (Not projects).
o Heavily involved in banking relationships to ensure finance/debt is utilized efficiently and works to ensure the best rate on the market.
o Handles all finance escalated issues in house, escalates to CFO when additional help is needed.
o Assists with implementation of processes involving finance department.
o 3TI In The Sky - Reaching New Heights - A branded 3T Innovations meeting - Departmental/Company Wide to address errors and better ways to enter time, enter in expensify, accounting practices, etc. (Attended by all staff, lead by Revenue Controller (AR) with the Project Controller (AP) present).
o Attends Executive Management Meetings.
o Weekly meetings with Dominic/CFO to review cash flow, P&L, balance sheet.
