Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Development Coordinator - Giving and Donor Stewardship & Experience.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Donor Stewardship & Experience, the Senior (Sr.) Development Coordinator is an integral member of the Giving and Donor Stewardship & Experience teams. The Sr. Development Coordinator is responsible for conducting a full range of development activities that help to strengthen the Giving teams efforts by providing critical and complex fundraising support, including assistance with: moves management; donor and prospect research; planning and executing cultivation and stewardship events and tours; tracking and documenting key donor and prospect relationships; scheduling and coordinating gift officers interactions and contacts; gift processing; and gift agreement administration.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Partner closely with gift officers on moves management; ensure updates to meeting materials, the donor database "TRAX," and other systems to capture all the activities of the team.
    • Efficiently and effectively conduct all follow-up from meetings, liaising with individuals and teams, scheduling internal and external meetings, requesting deliverables, prospect research information, event briefings, etc.
    • Act as critical connector between the gift officers and teams throughout the office, in particular the Office of the Executive Vice President, Prospect Research, Development Communications, Stewardship, Fundraising Analytics and Data Services, as well as the other members of the Giving team, ensuring and increasing transparent communication and inclusion.
    • Assist with cultivation and stewardship event/tour planning and execution.
    • Assist with drafting, editing and designing donor proposals.
    • Assist with drafting, editing and designing stewardship reports and touchpoints.
    • Prepare gift transmittals and work with the Gift Processing team to ensure timely and accurate processing of various gift types.
    • Run reports in TRAX to facilitate fundraising efforts.
    • Support the gift officers in day-to-day tasks and activities, including: scheduling meetings; answering and returning phone calls and handling inquiries when possible; updating calendars; replying to emails; composing/editing routine correspondence; proofreading all correspondence; updating database donor records, including scanning information, updating prospect plans and adding contact reports; handling mail merges; coordinating travel arrangements; processing expense reports, reimbursements, requisitions and payments to vendors; prioritizing work and providing project support.
    • Develop expertise in donor database TRAX.
    • Develop proficiency in Marq, GiftMap and other software as needed.
    • Develop proficiency in systems including ClickUp (online project management tool) and partner with the Development Legal team to prepare draft gift agreements and complete and track tasks associated with committed gifts/gift agreements.
    • Manage and participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree required.
4-5+ years related experience required.
Strong writing and editing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $81,413.34 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
