Key Responsibilities:


+ Complete intake, screening, and assessment processes within designated time frames, adhering to state regulatory, CARF, and agency standards.


+ Develop individualized treatment plans for clients in accordance with state regulatory and CARF guidelines, ensuring plans evolve based on gathered information.


+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided, adhering to state regulatory, CARF, and agency standards.


+ Participate in clinical staffing and treatment team meetings, providing feedback on pertinent cases.


+ Facilitate group counseling, individual sessions, and family conferences focused on resolving substance use-related issues and improving overall functioning.


+ Work with clients to examine attitudes, feelings, and behaviors that promote recovery, healthy decision-making, and improved problem-solving skills.


+ Assist clients through the transition process, completing final correspondence such as transition summaries, plans, and letters.


+ Complete all mandatory trainings, meeting state regulatory and CARF standards, obtaining the required training hours focused on evidence-based practices and clinical skill development.


+ Represent the agency within the community in a professional manner, maintaining positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers while adhering to the Code of Ethics and agency policies.


+ Handle crisis situations as they arise, employing effective de-escalation and crisis intervention strategies.


Education and/or Experience Qualifications:


+ Hold the credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. (MCB) or the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board (BSRB), such as:


+ Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC)


+ Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRADC)


+ Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (CRAADC)


+ Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC)


+ Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP)


+ Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC)


+ Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC)


+ Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states, if required.


+ Comfortable providing telehealth services to clients.
