Closet America is looking for a Home Show and Field Marketing Manager to work and lead our wide variety of tradeshows, events, and field marketing partnerships throughout the year. As the Home Show and Field Marketing Manager, you ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding lead generation goals measured by quantity and quality. This position requires 75% local travel to all home shows and events as well as 25% in the office to work directly with the Marketing Director and Call Center Manager on forecasting, strategy, and training. The ideal candidate would have experience in management, marketing/sales, vendor management and aspires to run their own team!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and coach staff by demonstration, observation, and critique to generate quality leads by approved company systems and policies
  • Develop and manage a successful team of promoters who are measured on sales from the leads they set, the number of issued leads, and the demonstration rate
  • Strategize and implement a comprehensive field marketing program targeting partnerships
  • Explore new opportunities for external partnerships to generate more sales opportunities
  • Successfully operate the department within the determined budget and cost-per-lead goals
  • Work with third-party vendors to reserve all home shows and events, update booth signage, print materials, and booth setup
  • Continually research new home shows and events to showcase as well as new trends in the tradeshow industry
  • Read the Set Board and provide high-quality confirmations on set appointments completed at the shows
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to discuss strategy, expectations, and goals throughout the week
  • Attend the weekly Marketing meeting to discuss the previous week s results, performance, and the reasons for it (fact-based and judgment-free)
  • Conduct continuous training of home show and event promoters
  • Work closely with Contact Center Manager to ensure continuity between field and office marketers
  • Implement incentive programs within the budget that highlight quantity and quality
  • Ensure proper and consistent branding and representation of Closet America is showcased at all events
  • Other duties as assigned. I.e., Canvassing Efforts, Brand Ambassador roles, Showroom, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-3 years of experience with D2D canvass
  • Marketing/Sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions
  • Ability to strategize and identify new ventures for our field marketing efforts
  • Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result
  • Ability to obtain and appropriate the proper usage of equipment, facilities, materials, as well as personnel
  • Ability to think outside the box and find new ways to reach our target customer
  • Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task
  • Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems
