Outside Sales Representative


Job Details

Outside sales representative working in the underground infrastructure industry and understands the bid process. This is a regional role based in Wisconsin that will require being in the field meeting with contractors, municipalities, and utilities. The expectation is travel within the territory daily, with limited overnight travel.


Success in the rule requires ability to:

  • to chase projects
  • follow-up and communicate throughout process
  • ASTM specifications
  • to work and communicate with contractors, municipalities, and utilities.
  • be in the field four days a week meeting with customers


Job responsibilities:

  • Maintaining effective relationships with current customers that lead to increased sales and revenue
  • Working in conjunction with local, regional, and national promotional efforts
  • Identifying and prospecting for new customers and documenting for CRM
  • Working closely with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies and specifications
  • Analyzing market trends and develop action plans to capitalize on shifts in market
  • Preparing sales projects and prospecting activity reports for monthly meetings
