Senior Research Associate I - Pharmacology


Primary Duties

Produce reliable and precise data in a timely manner to meet deadlines and support scientific investigations


Conduct in vitro assays, including Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays


Perform cell culture and conduct cell-based assays


Follow Standard Operating Practices (SOP) related to specific laboratory tasks/assays


Participate in interdepartmental and intradepartmental projects


Ability to analyze scientific data, interpret test results, and compile results into technical reports


Ability to work in a group


Other Responsibilities & Skills

Keep detailed records of data and document experimental procedures and results according to established guidelines


Experience culturing many different types of cells and strong skills in sterile technique


Participate in common lab tasks beyond assays and experimental design, including ordering lab supplies, aliquoting, making buffers, lab organization


Must be capable of multi-tasking, working both independently and within a team environment


Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Good organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities, to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and to meet challenging timelines


Expertise in Excel, Prism, PowerPoint, Softmax, etc.


Qualifications

A bachelor s degree in Biology, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 5+ years of industry experience in pre-clinical or laboratory research, or a master s degree with 3 5 years of work experience.


Compensation Title and pay commensurate with skills and experience, eligibility for company benefit plans.


Other Must live within commuting distance of Beverly, MA. ONSITE ONLY
