Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for proper, high quality and timely execution of his job obligations.
Keeping maintenance of the building in two locations.
Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of a Tech/Carpenter/Painter to perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems within the property
Completes all jobs assigned by management
Knowledge of basic carpenter/painter work
Performs device setup and calibration of psychometric measurement sensors, dampers and valve motors, variable frequency drives, and other associated HVAC equipment
Recognizes when equipment is in need of repairs, adjustments, or replacement
Advises supervisor of any unusual conditions
Performs assigned duties during emergency situations
Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
Promotes and maintains a professional, friendly, prompt, accurate, and courteous atmosphere
Resolves complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management
Notifies supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
ON-CALL (must respond to emergencies)
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements And Competences
21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong problem solving and listening skills
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds at a time
Ability to push and pull heavy items and equipment
Ability to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
Ability to multi-task several activities and duties simultaneously
Ability to function and act independently
Ability to work well with people, in a team environment, and to communicate effectively both written & oral
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines
Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, weekends, and holidays
Obtain/maintain Gaming Control Board Occupational License
Technician are required to have a minimum of two (2) years experience in building maintenance in the hospitality or service industry or two (2) years building maintenance skills that are transferable to the hospitality or service industry
Trade related certification or license were mandated by trade regulatory requirements
