**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Push wheelchair passenger to and from gates

* Roll customer-occupied wheelchair safely down the jet bridge

* Ensure wheel brakes are in place prior to allowing the passenger to exit the wheelchair

* Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports

* Follow dispatcher gate orders

* Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and is attentive to each passengers individual needs: by assisting passengers with any problems, questions or concerns.

* Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, mangers, airline employees, and airport authorities

* Exceed customer service standards

* Carry out other duties assigned.

**Required Skills:**

* Ability to work various shifts

* Strong customer service

* Strong verbal and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by the terminal environment

* High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred

* Ability to obtain an airport badge

* Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US

* Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen

* Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holiday

* Must possess a valid Drivers License.

**Working Conditions**

Work is primarily done indoors; however, the individual will be working near terminals with consistently open doors where harsh weather conditions could affect the indoor environment. The Passenger Service Agent team is provided a Menzies Aviation uniform including a long coat.

This individual will also work with disgruntled customers throughout the airport and must maintain a positive attitude when representing our company and communicating with customers within the airport.

Other tasks include lifting passenger bags up to 70lbs which could also involve bending and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70lbs.
