The Core Account Processing Solutions (CAPS) finance team supports all of Fiserv's Bank & Credit Union core processing platforms, including 12+ individual business units .
What does a successful Senior Finance Analyst do at Fiserv?
As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will join our Account Processing Finance team supporting the Core Account Processing Segment and specifically the Signature product line. You will be expected to quickly learn the $130M Signature business including the primary drivers of financial results and to use this knowledge to drive meaningful financial analysis to improve leadership decision making. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the leadership team to help drive strategy important to the creation of profitable business growth and margin improvement.
What You Will Do
Coordinate, manage and prepare financial and management reports accurately and on a timely basis including appropriate variance analysis, evaluation of metrics and commentary for internal review and action. Analysis and reporting to include monthly close, monthly forecast, ad hoc business reviews, long range planning, annual operating plan and annual budgeting. These responsibilities require coordination and collaboration across the Core Account Processing leadership team, divisional FPA and Corporate.Analyze variances and trends in sales, revenue, expense, general business conditions and other related areas. Identify key data points and trends that demonstrate the relationship between the operational, financial and performance goals.Identify areas of the business requiring further financial analysis based on trends and leadership team interest. Prepare and deliver detailed analysis with meaningful observations to be presented to the Core Account Processing leadership team.Provide insight into monthly forecast decisions and related reporting including understanding and articulating the drivers of proposed forecast changes as well as the related risks and opportunities to the forecast.Execute excellent quantitative analysis, qualitative business judgement and build strong relationships with key decision makers and peers across the business.Review historical sales by financial institution and by product to understand conversion to revenue, time to implementation and overall impact of the sales organization on the growth of the business.Analyze historical key product volume trends isolating the impacts of new business and lost business to better understand existing client volume trends relative to the industry and benchmarks. Capable of helping design, execute and review analysis over numerous cuts of volume data including by financial institution asset size, length of tenure, etc.Build strong relationships with key decision makers and peers across the business and finance organization.
What You Will Need To Have
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent Business related field4 plus years of applicable finance and/or accounting experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office suite Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and WordExperience managing projects and influencing people at various levels within the organization.

MBA and/or CPA
