Peak Partners has a Regional Managed Service Provider client located in Maryland who is looking for a Director of Professional Services who can oversee the company s small team of technicians and projects. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can guide its team, manage all projects, ensure customer satisfaction, and maximize the value of their services to clients.
The job does require an onsite presence (Hybrid) so please only Maryland residents should apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's Professional Services strategy, aligning service offerings with client needs and market trends.
- Build and lead a high-performing Professional Services team, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives and provide strategic guidance and recommendations to support their success. Draft SOW s and create budgets accordingly.
- Provide oversight and guidance on project management methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Optimize resource allocation and capacity planning to maximize efficiency and utilization of Professional Services resources.
- Drive service innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices, emerging technologies, and client feedback to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Experience working at an MSP and knowledge of technical skills required for servicing MSP client needs.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proven experience in project management methodologies and tools, with certification in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred.
- Knowledge of consulting best practices, service delivery frameworks, and industry standards.
- Experience in creating scope of work and pricing.
- Managing project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex project issues and provide actionable insights.
