Marathon TS is looking to hire a TOP SECRET cleared JUNIOR Cable Technician to support a Federal Client. All candidates must have the following experience:
- Responsible for cabling and termination of Cat3, Cat5, Cat6, CATV and various other wiring disciplines. The position includes the testing and troubleshooting of wiring problems. Responsible for running new cabling in new or existing buildings.
- Termination and testing of new cabling.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Run CAT5 and fiber optic network cabling in support of customer needs.
- Perform MDF and IDF build outs.
- Testing/Troubleshooting network issues (Connectivity, other low voltage cable associated issues)
- Pull, install, terminate, and test CAT 6 and fiber optic cabling.
- Install LC, MTRJ, SC and RJ45 connector termination, and test fiber-optic and copper cabling systems.
- Works under limited supervision on tasks within established procedures.
- Provides the necessary information in the ticket in the event the ticket is passed to another solver group.
- Triage and troubleshoot tickets submitted.
- Provide desktop software application assistance.
- Resolve trouble tickets while interacting with the user, First Call Resolution or escalate to other support entities.
- Provide customers with status of the ticket and serve as primary support.
