From project kick-off to completion, our team utilizes this approach to deliver projects that exceed expectations.RequirementsSummary of Position Responsibilities:KAEKO is seeking a Survey Technician I. The Survey Technician I has the overall responsibility of performing entry level survey work as part of a survey crew. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:Cleans survey truck, equipment, and tools.Keeps survey truck stocked with necessary supplies and tools.Loads and unloads equipment and supplies used by the survey crew.Set-up and operate survey equipment.Communicate with crew members to maximize efficiency.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Review or check the work product of others.Understand and comply with written/oral instructions in the English language.Complete forms and report information in standard format.Ability to pass background test.Ability to travel is a plus.Minimum Requirements:Travel across rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces at construction sites.Move objects between 20-50 pounds long distances (20 feet or more).Use a 16-pound sledgehammer.Walk distances up to a &fac12; mile at a time, up to five miles per day.Bend or stoop repeatedly.Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time.Make continuous or repetitive arm-hand movements.Work outside in all seasons/weather conditions.Work inside on hard surfaces.High school diploma or GED required. Basic knowledge of construction, boundary, and topographic surveys.College or technical courses in mathematics or surveying a plus.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.This position outlines the basic tasks and requirements for the position noted.
