Spectrum has a reputation for identifying world-class candidates for our clients. Early on, you will be responsible for learning about our industry, processes, systems, and the ways that we identify, persuade, and evaluate talented executive leaders.


In this newly created role, you will be responsible for supporting our retained searches through a variety of means. This will include providing market research, collaborating with the search management team, and supporting all aspects of our search process.


Over time, you will be tasked with moving into a full-time recruiting support role working directly with the Partners and Search Managers for a specific group of search assignments.


Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work closely with the search management team to provide market research and other support to successfully complete retained searches
  • Collaborate with the team in developing ideal candidate profiles and key criteria/requirements while supporting the identification, persuasion, and evaluation process
  • Master and utilize our various cloud-based software systems and tools
  • Help to ensure that Spectrum s internal CRM is up to date with the latest search information, including candidate details, status, resumes, and compensation information
  • Assist in developing materials that support the search process (Position Profiles, Scorecard Assessments, Active Candidate Reports, and Meeting Recap Notes)
  • Prepare lists that support the identification process of prospective candidates
  • Over time, comprehend and articulate our client s value propositions to prospective candidates
  • Provide vital background information on prospects and potential new clients
  • Develop Competitive Intelligence and Private Equity industry research


Skills and Position Requirements:

  • 2 to 4+ years of full-time professional business experience is required. A background in sales, marketing, human resources, accounting, or consulting is highly desired. Prior experience in executive search is not required
  • Positive and enthusiastic disposition with a desire to develop a long-term, successful career
  • A collaborative team player with an honest and ethical mindset is critical
  • Brings a self-starter mentality must be reliable and able to meet deadlines ( do whatever it takes )
  • Must take pride in doing top quality work, brings a strive for excellence philosophy
  • Intensely curious must have a love for continuous learning about businesses and their industries, along with the understanding that the right talent drives outcomes
  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task, handle pressure situations, and communicate with sophisticated individuals (strong written and verbal communication skills)
  • Prior experience in a sports program or team environment is highly preferred
