Aggtrans & The Stone Store is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about marketing and eager to learn and grow within our organization. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with our Marketing & Events Director to support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This position reports directly to our office near BWI Airport in Harmans, MD daily.
Responsibilities:
- Support inbound and outbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in areas such as event planning, advertising, email activities, search engine marketing, graphic web design, search engine optimization and, content development
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, and digital content
- Collaborate with web team to provide fresh content regularly, along with ideas based on web analytics to enhance our customer s web experience
- Providing support for corporate events, including set up, tear down, registration, creating literature, event layouts, and more
- Assisting with company apparel and promotional/branding items
- Maintain the physical and digital filing systems / assets for marketing collateral
Qualifications:
- Must have web development / SEO experience
- Must have experience in MS Office suite. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience managing CRM systems working knowledge of a database program such as Salesforce, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Experience working independently, as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment
- Experience with social media management and email marketing is a plus
