BTI360 is seeking an experienced and talented Senior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Human-Centered Design principles, with a proven track record of delivering user-centric solutions. The Senior UX/UI Designer will play a crucial role in crafting innovative and intuitive user experiences for our products, collaborating closely with customers and development teams.

Responsibilities:
- User-Centric Design: Apply Human-Centered Design methodologies to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Utilize this understanding to create user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
- Collaboration with Customers: Work closely with customers to gather insights, feedback, and requirements. Translate these findings into design solutions that align with both user expectations and business goals.
- Technical Feasibility: Collaborate with development teams to ensure proposed designs are technically feasible. Bridge the gap between design and development, fostering a collaborative environment to create innovative and feasible products.
- Prototyping and Validation: Rapidly iterate and validate design concepts through prototyping, usability testing, and feedback loops. Use tools such as Figma or Adobe XD to create interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design intent.
- Design System Development: Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience across our products. Contribute to the evolution of the design system as the product and user needs evolve.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment between design and business objectives. Advocate for user experience excellence throughout the product development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in UX design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects and a strong understanding of Human-Centered Design principles.
- Clearance: U.S. Citizenship/Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- Tools: Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent, with a strong ability to create both low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups.
- Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with customers, development teams, and other stakeholders. Strong communication skills to convey design rationale and gather feedback.
- Innovative Thinking: Passion for pushing the boundaries of design and creating innovative products. Ability to balance creativity with practical considerations for technical feasibility.
- Design System Experience: Experience in developing and maintaining design systems to ensure a consistent and scalable user experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- User Research: Experience conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
- Information Architecture: Proficiency in organizing and structuring information effectively, creating sitemaps, and designing intuitive navigation systems.
- Interaction Design: Strong skills in designing interactive elements, animations, and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Visual Design: A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail in creating visually appealing interfaces, including a solid understanding of color theory, typography, and iconography.
- Mobile and Responsive Design: Experience designing for various screen sizes and platforms, with an understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches.
- Prototyping Ability: Familiarity with prototyping tools and experience creating wireframes, low or high-fidelity prototypes, mockups, or user flows.
- Accessibility: Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience designing inclusive interfaces that cater to users with diverse needs and abilities.
- Collaboration Tools: Proficient in using collaboration and project management tools such as Slack, Jira, or Trello to streamline communication and workflow.
- User Persona Development: Ability to create and utilize user personas to guide design decisions and ensure alignment with target audience needs.
- Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Understanding of Agile development processes and experience working in a collaborative, iterative environment.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a commitment to staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
