**Description**
WDS is hiring a Forklift Operator for our warehouse in Virginia Beach!
The Forklift Operator safely and efficiently operates all forms of operations machinery including but not limited to: forklifts, reach-lifts and electric pallet jacks.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced, physical position that will keep you moving all day long as you ready freight for customers. **Responsibilities:**
* Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner
* Picks and labels loose cartons
* Provides daily preventative maintenance checks on equipment as required
* Escalates equipment mechanical issues to Lead Equipment Operator
* Unloads/Loads freight in a safe and effective manner
* Accurately verifies freight for quality and quantity
* Performs cycle counting as required
* Communicates with others appropriately
* Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
* Previous experience operating forklifts and reach-lifts
* Warehouse experience preferred
* Experience with warehouse management systems helpful
* Experience with warehouse RF equipment preferred
* Knowledge of safety regulations
* High School Diploma or GED required
