Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced Architect to work on an exciting, upcoming governmental project, as well as future cultural, institutional, and residential development projects.

We are seeking an architect with the ability to contribute individually, as well as to structure and oversee work for others when the assigned work exceeds the threshold of their own productivity. You will work directly with the Project Manager and Project Architect to deliver work of the highest quality. In this role, you will have some responsibility to interface with the client and will be expected to be involved with the coordination and communication with teams both inside and outside of the firm.

Design & production work will be developed exclusively in Revit. If you are not already proficient working in Revit, you will need to be eager to learn, and quick to adapt. Additionally, you will be expected to be proficient in Enscape, Bluebeam, Indesign, and Photoshop. It is critical that you are comfortable learning new tools and eager to use them efficiently.

This role will be active through all phases of design projects, and the successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to manipulate conceptual ideas, as well as an ability to develop those ideas through design to technical solutions.


You must have strong curiosity and ambition, show initiative, and demonstrate a desire to learn about, and share your knowledge of, building systems, materials, and technologies, as well as codes & standards. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and will be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in all project phases, with a primary focus on design development, construction documents and construction administration.
  • Partner with the Project Architect to produce accurate technical and contract documentation for the construction of the project
  • Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction.
  • Utilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts
  • Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
  • Mentor and provide direction to less experienced design team members


Your Qualifications

  • Professional Architecture Degree. Masters preferred but not necessarily a requirement
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Licensure a plus, but not necessarily a requirement
  • Demonstrated strength of technical knowledge & design sensibility
  • Demonstrated knowledge of 3D modeling & BIM documentation tools, including Revit and the Adobe Suite
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in the culture of the studio

Pay Range: The base salary will be estimated between $95,000 - $120,000 plus bonuses and benefits, contingent on relevant experience.
