Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roof Coating Senior Formulation Chemist to lead our formulation team. As a pivotal member of our R&D department, you will spearhead the development of new roof coating products and improve existing formulations to meet and exceed industry standards. Your expertise will drive innovation, ensuring our products offer superior durability, efficiency, and environmental friendliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize roof coating formulations to enhance performance, durability, and sustainability.
• Lead and mentor a team of chemists and technicians in the research and development of new products.
• Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to ensure product compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and sales, to align product development with market needs and company goals.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in technology, and regulatory changes to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
• Oversee the scale-up of new formulations from the laboratory to production, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production and quality control teams.

Requirements:

• Master s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in roof coating formulation is essential.
• Proven track record of leading product development projects from concept through to commercialization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a thorough understanding of material properties and chemical analysis techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of mentoring team members and collaborating with other departments.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to roof coatings.
