Blue Onion Media is a growing specialty paid media (advertising) agency based in Colorado that truly lives our core values teamwork, fun, and ingenuity. We are searching for an energetic, positive, and focused Media Planner to join our team to serve multiple accounts.
ABOUT US:
Independent media agency, founded in 1979

Strategic and custom, media agnostic, developing integrated plans across all paid media
THE POSITION:
Experience crafting compelling presentations using data a Planner who can buy media
Work collaboratively to plan and place advertising in all offline and online media channels including broadcast, print, out-of-home, digital, social, event and experiential, and emerging media. Our focus for this role is on Traditional/offline media
Manage activation of approved media plans, including campaign launch, vendor delivery monitoring, performance tracking and analysis, billing and budget auditing
Use resource tools such as SQAD, SRDS, MRI/Simmons, Scarborough, Kantar, Advantage, etc. to support research, planning, buying and reporting activities
SALARY RANGE:
Salary range of $55-$75K based on years of media experience and skill set
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor s degree required with 3+ years of experience
Background and understanding of fundamental marketing and advertising principles
Knowledge of traditional and digital media channels and tactics, buying methodologies and reporting metrics
Good verbal and written communication and listening skills
Excellent organizational skills, time management, attention to detail and dependability
Functional experience using MS Office software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Eager to learn, collaborative, self-confident, motivated with a passion to succeed
