Adecco Medical & Science is assisting a local client in their search to fill a Customer Service position in Newark, NJ.
Location: Newark, NJ (onsite
Duration: Contract long-term
Pay rate: $ 18.63/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday with every other weekend. When working a weekend, they will have one day before Saturday off and one day after Sunday off. Evenings are usually 6pm - 10pm and weekends 12p-8p or 2p-10p
The primary purpose of the Customer Service Receptionist is to register visitors for visitation and/or same day procedures by creating a visitor badge using the Visitor Management System; greet patients and visitors while providing friendly and prompt assistance when directing them to their destination as appropriate.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Actively contributes to creating a friendly, welcoming, and safe environment for UH customers
+ Communicates clearly to ensure understanding
+ Responds to complaints and concerns by resolving issues immediately whenever possible
+ Organizes work process to accommodate customer needs, including internal customers and co-workers
+ Meets or exceeds customer expectations for service
+ Acts as a role model for Service Excellence
+ Maintains professional composure in the workplace
+ Works effectively with team to ensure customer service scores for work area meet/exceed targets
+ Demonstrates respect for patient rights
**Qualifications include:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ One (1) year of customer service experience required
+ Experience in hospitality preferred
+ Must have strong computer skills including data entry, website navigation and other software to perform daily operations; excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communications
+ Ability to work in a team setting, display patience, empathy, and professionalism
+ Ability to organize and resolve multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot issues in a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Must possesses the ability to multi-task, proper telephone etiquette, time management, and attention to detail skills
+ May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
+ Bilingual skills preferred
