Job Description Summary:
Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Multimedia Services Specialist to work with our Technology Service Delivery & Support team in our Washington, D.C. office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to coordinating, scheduling, and initiating the firm's various video conferences, webinars, live events and other multimedia productions. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.

Job Description:

What you would do:

  • Monitor daily video conferences and webinars
  • Provide proactive outreach to end-users to confirm meeting requirements and make recommendations as needed
  • Provide ad hoc training on multimedia technologies requested by end-users
  • Configure conference rooms with appropriate equipment
  • Provide hands-on, in-room, or remote meeting/event support as requested
  • Perform AV systems diagnostics to troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Ensure adequate inventory for AV equipment's peripherals, such as batteries and projector bulbs
  • Stay current with industry trends and latest technologies
  • Perform basic editing of video/audio clips for meetings/events
  • Put simple graphics and/or titles to video/audio clips using a variety of software platforms (Adobe Premiere, Vegas, Final Cut, etc.).
  • Embed audio and video for PowerPoint presentations
  • Be a liaison to the firm's AV vendors to schedule regular maintenance
  • Special projects and duties as assigned

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, be detail-oriented, understand when urgency is required and use good judgment in varied situations


What is required:
  • Bachelor's degree or technical school certification
  • At least 3 years' experience in a professional environment with a focus in Multimedia and/or end-user support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Understanding of audio/video systems, including, but not limited to Cisco and Polycom endpoints, video bridges, expressways, and switches
  • Proficiency with video editing skills in platforms including, but not limited to Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia, Mediasite, Sony Vegas
  • Proficiency with Webex, GoToMeeting, Zoom, ON24, Microsoft Teams and other collaboration webinar/event platforms as well as keeping updates current
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
