Overall Objective

Unleash your creativity by bringing new ideas and LOL-worthy lines, starting the right conversations online, and writing at the speed of social trends. The Content Creator, Writer sits within the Creative and collaborates closely with the Content Strategy team. Responsible for driving social conversations (community engagement) on behalf of clients and content copywriting to support campaigns.


Responsibilities:

Community Engagement

  • Be the voice of the brand on social, ensure every communication is aligned with larger brand positioning and content strategy
  • Respond to real-time conversations, answer comments creatively, engage with other users/brands, and mediate as needed
  • Identify user-generated content opportunities
  • Engage in search and response opportunities to expand the reach of the brand in socially relevant and appropriate dialogue
  • Report to Clients/brands and escalate cases as needed

Content Copywriting

  • Create content and copy for both paid and organic content, social initiatives
  • Deliver copy effective for a variety of digital channels, including social, display, e-mail, websites, and more
  • Maintain client brand guidelines and copy standards, curated for each content platform

General Client/Account Support

  • Assist with social platform trends, content writing best practices, and more
  • Keep Content Strategy and Account Services team informed of community engagement happenings, opportunities, and any concerns
  • Report monthly on brand love and overall sentiment to provide insights that may guide content creation
  • Manage between community engagement and copy creation tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Advertising or Marketing with a focus on copywriting. Digitally focused studies and/or internships with exposure to social marketing is highly preferred
  • Must have 4+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation
  • Advertising, Marketing and/or Media Industry experience is highly preferred
  • Portfolio of work or work samples that show a range of writing across different content pieces required. Previous experience in community engagement preferred
  • Familiarity working across social platforms and a passion for keeping up with trends
  • Must be highly adaptable and passionately in tune with the latest social media developments, trends, online behaviors, and social media culture
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently
  • Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and commitment to get the job done
  • Strong command of the written English language and understanding of grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences relevant for each medium
